TV and Video

Celeste & Danielle are currently involved in two groundbreaking TV projects — one as lead sexologists on Channel 4 UK’s series, Virgin Island and one as producers on Here She Comes, a fictional series about 2 up and coming sex coaches changing lives and fighting against the societal forces that aim to shut them down. In both, they bring the transformative tools of the Somatica® Method to life, making authentic connection, healing, and intimacy coaching visible and visceral.

Some of the more touch-based Somatica coaching tools have also been highlighted in the YouTube docuseries Somatica Sessions.

Virgin Island

A groundbreaking series airing on Channel 4 UK, Virgin Island follows a group of adult virgins exploring intimacy, desire, and connection, with the gentle guidance of lead Somatica sexologists Celeste & Danielle and a team of other experts. It’s raw, real, and filled with the kind of transformation you don’t usually see on TV.

Here She Comes

A TV pilot about two pioneering sex coaches helping people discover their deepest Core Desires and the conservative and sometimes violent forces fighting against their pleasure revolution. The pilot is inspired by the Somatica Method with characters based loosely on Celeste & Danielle’s personalities.

Miranda Rae Mayo

“I’m inspired by all women all the time. Two that really send me over the edge are Celeste Hirschman and Dr. Danielle Harel, the founders of the Somatica Institute in San Francisco.

Not only are these women professional sex and intimacy coaches, but they’re also training others to do it too (myself included). Their mission statement is centered around facilitating erotic embodiment for all people, and helping individuals deepen their capacity for connection with themselves and others.

I truly feel like the work they do is inspirational in a myriad of ways, and I am greatly inspired by their leadership style. They are powerhouses who lead vulnerably, openly and playfully. I’ve never experienced anything quite like it and love how it challenges my outdated ideas of what great leadership is supposed to look like.”
