“Before I came to see you, I was very unhappy with my relationship with my wife of over 30 years. I was unhappy with her sexual responsiveness and felt constantly criticized by her. I would collapse with the tone of her voice or even an expression could send me into a tailspin. My wife was no happier and had suggested separation.

All our 30 plus years of married life I tried to be the "good husband" by being the "nice guy." I tried so very hard to please her thinking that my tactic of trying to make everything ok would work. Needless to say, I failed most of the time.

When she was unhappy or angry with me I would shut down, pout or disappear for a few days until she came and tried to patch things up with some make-up sex.

The fact that you were willing to put yourself on the line, do intense role-playing and experiential work and stay fully present and engaged no matter how angry or hurt I felt, was what made all of the difference for me. It allowed me to actually take what I learned from you and begin to practice it in relationship with my wife.

The results have been nothing short of remarkable. I have learned that what my wife needed in order to be a woman was for me to be a man. Once I started changing how I was with my wife, she challenged me to my core. I had no idea of how deeply I could be cut and still stand there and stay engaged with her while she pushed me to find out if I was really going to be a man she could count on and trust. She needed to know that she could be all sides of herself, the good, bad and ugly to see if I really cared about her and not just "the goodies."

I stayed with her for three weeks of the most intense emotional roller coaster I have ever been on. The ugly turned awesome and back again. After three weeks of receiving her on all levels, from all parts of herself, she collapsed in my arms, totally in love with me.

Since then we have been like teenagers in love. I didn't realize how many times I could still have sex in a single day.

I regret all the years that I could have been a man for her and given her the pleasure of being a woman. But, no matter. “Your workshops and coaching transformed our marriage. 10 months ago we were on the verge of divorce. One of our core struggles was power and control in our sexual relationship. I had fears about being overpowered which caused me to take control, which in turn made him feel powerless and unable to get his needs met. The next breakthrough was when we attended the Tie Me Up + Spank Me workshop with 4 other couples. At first I was terrified. This was exactly the place I was stuck in our relationship, and I was worried I would have to do things that were uncomfortable while we explored our fantasies in front of strangers! In fact, it was quite liberating to share our fears and stories with others, as well as practice simple and fun techniques for telling each other our fantasies and learning how to act them out. I discovered my husband did not harbor scary dominating fantasies which I had feared, and he in turn, discovered a more sexually adventurous and open me than he ever imagined. This combined with me attending Embracing your Inner Sex Goddess allowed me to feel more comfortable in my body and expressing my needs. I found the role plays particularly helpful in learning to do this.

I am happy to say that our Sexuality Bootcamp has had a huge impact on our relationship. We have more sex, it is much more pleasurable and now when the struggle for control rears its ugly head we work past it. I am much more open to pleasing my husband and meeting his needs and he mine. “I learned a great deal during the workshop, and I expected to learn some new things about women as well as some new skills to make me a better lover. Extraordinarily one of you noticed in the last manual stimulation exercise of the day, that at some stage I had disconnected part of myself from the experience and she asked if I had noticed.
